The Red Energy Arena team celebrated a big win on Saturday night at the Community Clubs Victoria Awards at the Crown Melbourne, taking home the award for Best Family Community Club.
The Community Clubs Victoria Awards is designed to acknowledge the high performing individuals and clubs whose efforts contribute to the social and economic well-being of their local Victorian communities.
Red Energy Arena were finalists in two other categories, including Best Sports Community Club, and Jake Hilson for Community Club Young Employee of the Year.
Anita Harrington, Corporate Services Manager at Red Energy Arena believes this is testament to the hardworking and dedicated staff, great value and community support.
“It’s fantastic to be a finalist in these categories and we are thankful for the support and recognition from Community Clubs Victoria,” she says.

It’s been an eventful week for the Red Energy Arena team, having just come off the back of Seven Network’s Sunrise breakfast show filming live, and both womens and mens Bendigo Brave teams winning in front of a packed-out home crowd on Saturday night.
Red Energy Arena is regional Victoria’s home of sports and entertainment, delivering a community-focused hub through various sports codes, entertainment events, business functions and family moments.
