The home of sport in Bendigo

Bendigo Stadium is a true Sports Hub. As the home of the Bendigo Bank Spirit, Bendigo Braves and Bendigo Basketball Association, there is no bigger place for basketball in regional Victoria. Bendigo Stadium also plays host to the Bendigo Volleyball Association along with a plethora of other sports and recreational activities.

Bendigo Spirit

The Spirit became the ninth Women’s National Basketball League club following its approval for entry into the 2007/08 season. As the third Victorian based team, the Spirit is based in the regional city of Bendigo.

The Bendigo Basketball Association (BBA) was formed in 1976 and has initiated the growth and remarkable profile that basketball enjoys in the City of Greater Bendigo.

Junior competition (including teams usually entered from local secondary schools).
