Bendigo's Premium Sporting and Entertainment Precinct

Bendigo Stadium transformed

The original Bendigo Stadium was built in 1976 featuring 2 basketball courts. Since then, there has been three major developments to meet the growing demands for indoor sporting and entertainment facilities.

As of 2018, the Bendigo Stadium now is of national prominence, being home to 10 indoor multi-purpose courts and 12 outdoor netball courts. The latest expansion project delivered a spectacular 4,000-seat show court arena, and today, showcases some of the best international sport and entertainment events available.

It is the largest indoor stadium outside metropolitan Melbourne, and is also the largest netball facility in regional Victoria, making the stadium an appealing venue for large-scale sporting events.

From world-class events, industry conferences and to community sport, the Bendigo Stadium is home to sport and entertainment excellence. The Bendigo Stadium has the capability to drive visitation and tourism to the Bendigo region through hosting major events, which delivers a flow-on effect to the local economy, particularly accommodation, hospitality and retail businesses.

As the home of the WNBL club, the Bendigo Spirit, and NBL1 club, the Bendigo Braves, and many local netball and volleyball athletes, the venue is designed to deliver an amazing athlete experience, from grassroots through to elite sport.

Amazing opportunities are now available to Bendigo and Regional Victoria due to this wonderful new sporting and entertainment venue, which leads the way in evolution.
